What? The feast day of San Juan de Sahagun, patron saint of Salamanca, includes bullfights, fireworks displays, plenty of food and drink and general festivities. It also coincides with Salamanca's annual medieval market.

What? Named a Spanish festival "national tourist interest", Salamanca's Corpus Christi celebrations, which celebrate the institution of the Eucharist, include an elaborate religious procession throughou the city.
