DELE Exam Preparation Course Characteristics
- 20 Spanish language lessons per week
- 5 culture lessons per week
- Duration: 4 or 5 weeks, with the option of adding extra week
The DELE (Diploma for Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only official certificate for foreign students recognized by the Instituto Cervantes. This diploma serves as an invaluable asset for students wishing to work in a Spanish-speaking country or to study at a Spanish university.
We strongly recommend that individuals wishing to take this course be at least 16 years-old, as the DELE exam preparation course in Salamanca is intensive and progresses at a rapid pace. The exam dates are scheduled by the Instituto Cervantes (see 2007 course and exam dates below).
At Enforex Salamanca, we will prepare you to pass the DELE exam at any of its 3 levels:
- Nivel Inicial: Certificate of Spanish at an elementary level.
- Nivel Intermedio: Diploma of Spanish at an intermediate level.
- Nivel Superior: Diploma of Spanish at an advanced level.
Applying for the DELE Exam
If you want Enforex to take care of your exam application, you simply need to pay an administration fee (in addition to the exam fee) and send us the following information at least one month before the exam date:
- Your full personal data (full name, birth date, nationality, etc.)
- A copy of your passport
- Your current address
When you request a DELE exam preparation course, please be sure to specify which exam level you plan on taking. Exam results come out approximately five months following the exam, at which point we will receive a list with the names of the successful candidates. We will communicate the results to you, and the Instituto Cervantes will send the original certificate to your home approximately one month later.

Course Starting Dates 2008: April 21st, July 21st & October 20th
Official exam dates 2008: May 24th, August 22nd, & November 22nd. The exams are scheduled by the Instituto Cervantes.
* Preparation course for any of the 3 DELE levels (Initial, Intermediate & Superior). The price does not include the exam fee (aprox. 80/120€). The exam takes place in May, August & November. The exact dates and prices for the exam are published by the “Instituto Cervantes” a month and half before the exam day. To formally register for the exam, please bring us a copy of your passport together with your personal details, full payment and permanent address the 1st day the course starts. Please confirm exact 2008 dates contacting our Head Office. Inscription fee: 5€ + exam fee.
General Terms:
- Registration & application fee: 65€
- Enforex Textbook + exercise book: 30€ per set.
- Max. 10 students/ class (average 5-6)
- 1 lesson = 55 minutes
- Learn Spanish while Traveling: combine 10 different cities at no extra cost!
- +5: The 5 cultural lessons cover various aspects of Spanish and Latin American culture and civilization. These classes are available five times per week and are complimentary to the regular courses. The maximum number of students in these classes is 12.
