FESTIVALS
- Carnaval del toro / Carnival of the Bull

Where? Ciudad Rodrigo (half-hour from Salamanca)
What? One of Castilla-León's most famous festivals, the Carnaval del Toro is similar to the famous Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Daily urban encierros (bull runs) are complemented by non-stop parties, all sorts of food and drink, music provided by charangas and plenty of other festivities.
